We are proud to present The Great Fantasies — an extraordinary evening with internationally acclaimed pianist Vladimir Khomyakov, whose powerful artistry, commanding technique, and deeply expressive interpretations have brought him to concert stages across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
The program brings together three of the most powerful and visionary works in the piano repertoire: Robert Schumann’s Fantasy in C Major, Franz Liszt’s Dante Sonata, and Ludwig van Beethoven’s legendary “Moonlight” Sonata.
From Beethoven’s haunting opening and explosive finale to Schumann’s sweeping Romantic passion and Liszt’s dramatic vision inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy, each work reveals a different dimension of the piano’s extraordinary expressive range.
Throughout the evening, Khomyakov will share engaging insights into the music, the composers, and the stories behind these extraordinary works — offering audiences a deeper and more personal connection to the music they are about to hear.
Known for performances that combine virtuosity with depth, imagination, and a distinctive sense of musical architecture, Vladimir Khomyakov brings these monumental works together in a program that moves from intimacy and longing to drama, passion, and transcendence.
Expect an evening of breathtaking virtuosity, profound emotion, and some of the most unforgettable music ever written for the piano.
A Complimentary Wine Salon Reception will begin at 6:30 PM and continue after the concert, offering guests the opportunity to meet the artist and enjoy an elegant and convivial atmosphere.
